The headlights stopped working on 2005 chevy

Check power at both headlights. Often one goes out and you don't notice till the other goes out. if both have power change the bulbs...if not check the switch and fuses as well as the dimmer switch.

2005 Chevy Malibu. Does anyone know which wire to cut to deactivate passkey mod on regular 2005 Malibu?

Question edited for clarity and typos. Question moved from Television and Video category. Tweakers messing with alarm and immobilizer systems is a nightmare. Only they know what they did. It is a complex system of the chip in the key, the transponder, the ECM, the BCM, the Ignition Module and the antitheft sensors. The best solution is to take it to an auto electrician or an alarm installer and put it back to how it is supposed to be. The only wiring diagram that is accurate and you can follow is the factory service wiring diagram.

2005 Chevrolet Malibu 3.5. Engine is making a slapping noise.

Question edited for clarity. If the rocker arm was broken, it wouldn't run. The most likely cause is a worn timing chain. https://www.google.com/search?q=2005+chevrolet+malibu+3.5+timing+chain+replacement ..

Gas gauge indicator goes to empty when full

sounds like you may have a bad fuel level sender problem. as for the check engine light coming on and storing a fault code that is a separate issue.

What fuse box is my lighter fuse in 2005 chevy malibu classic

The cigarette lighter fuse on your 2005 Chevy Malibu Classic is located at the rear end of the car. To access it, pop open the trunk and look for a fuse box on the driver side of the vehicle - it'll be under a carpeted cover. Remove the cover, then the lid of the fuse box, and you will find your lighter fluid in the middle on the bottom row.

I have a 2005 chevy Malibu. its not turning on. we checked the computer come to find out oil was in the gray connection of it. what do I do to fix it is there anything I can do to fix? will it damage?

You got another computer from where ? Was it programmed ? Anti-theft system key's programmed to new computer also ? Oil pressure switch is in the black connector - have seen bad oil pressure switch wick oil through the wire strands into the computer ,also bad coolant temp. sensor do the same thing .

I have an 05 Malibu Classic. It quit starting with no fuel pressure to the rail. I replaced the fuel pump and relay, and still had the same problem. I jumped the relay from the 87 to 30 terminal and it started right up. I switched the relay with the horn relay and the horn worked. What would cause this?

Did you have it checked for code's ? The PCM / ECM supply's Battery voltage to control ( energize ) the fuel pump relay . Using a voltmeter you can check for B+ voltage at pin 85 or 86 ,which ever one comes from the engine computer ,the other goes to ground . This is provided the anti-theft system light isn't lit . Watch this video on testing at the fuel pump relay GM vehicle's GM Fuel Pump Relay Testing

My 2005 chevy malibu shakes very hard. I just recently purchased this from the car auction. This is the second time, its been 3 weeks

Bad shakes. I know of nothing other than suspension / wheel issues that will cause this. Since this is an auction car, try looking up the service history for your VIN number online. That would tell you of significant damage in the car's past. Take the car to a tire store and have the wheels balanced. If the tech's can do this without problem, then the tires and wheels are probably fine, on to suspension. Take the car to a body shop and have them check the frame and suspension components. Checking should be cheap, it is fixing that costs.
