P0421 for 2003 eclipse
This is usually caused when someone either gutts their cat or uses a test pipe..causes the secondary o2 to read high..cheap fix is to buy a set of spark plug anti foulers. You drill out one enough to where you can screw the o2 sensor into it then screw the drilled one into the undrilled one then screw the combo back into the o2 bung and reset the ecu by unplugging the ecu or just remove the negative bat post for 10sec with one door open.this will stop the code unless your o2 sensor is bad but the secondary usually dont go bad
ABS always pumping
have you checked abs rings on drive shafts if broke abs will pump as its thinking its wheel is slipping you could wire brush them to see if they are broke
The car start fine when its cold but when it gets hot it will not start agatn
Sounds like a heat related problem. When hot and not starting pull a spark plug and see if you get a spark. If not suspect a thermal induced problem with the crankshaft or camshaft position sensors. When you pull out a position sensor clean them off with a rag, sometimes metal filing are found on the sensor. If you get a spark it might be a MAF sensor. The maf measures air flow into the engine.
My 2002 mitsubishi galant stalled while driving yesterday.
if it broke a timing belt or chain it would roll alot faster than normal.. if it just jumped time a notch or two it would still act like it was trying to start.. a chrankshaft sensor is a place to start.. but check to see if its firing first before you replace it because it could be the fuel also.. take a sparkplug out of the car and then plug it on the wire.. take an good insulated pair of pliers and hold the part of the spark plug that your socket goes on against a metal part of your motor.. then have someone roll the vehicle over while you watch the spark plug you can see the spark ti generates if vehicle is firing..if it is firing good then its probably in the fuel system.. hope this helps

Question: where did you buy the new crank position sensor? I had the exact same problem with my 2004 Nissan Altima and bought new crank position sensor from one of the auto parts store. Put it in and same problem. I was baffled. Finally decided to get the crank position sensor directly from the dealer. Fixed the problem. This was my experience, not sure if your case will be the same.
Vehicle has no spark and fuelpump inoperative
I would check the fuses under the hood for the duel pump and if you are possitve you need a fuel pump than get some prices and it might not be worth fixing how did you check for spark
2002 Mitsubishi Galant starts when cold but once
I went through a the same problem with a Toyota it would start perfect in morning and if I shut it off it wouldn't start hot anyway I would be willing to be it's the ect(engine coolant temperature) sensor. If your car has 2 it's the one for the computer
