Turn signal light stays after turning
this may be because the self cancelling unit under the wheel has a broken spring the engages the fingers to pick up on a pin that centres the switch. You may have to pull the wheel to check it out.. Try holding down the indicator handle and turn the wheel from lock to lock . You should feel a resistance in the handle when the wheel approaches the straight ahead position

2001 mitsubishi eclispse gs wont start how do you bypass the security system
1
Turn the ignition key counter clockwise in the driver's side door to unlock the car. This deactivates the alarm long enough for you to gain access to the vehicle. Then, place the key in the ignition and turn the key until it clicks once. This starts the car's battery, but doesn't ignite the engine. The LED light on the dashboard should stop blinking, indicating the alarm is temporarily disabled.
2
Locate the box for the alarm under the dashboard on the driver's side of the car. Then, look for the override button on the box. Typically, the small button is either red or black. With the ignition key in the "on" position, press the override button and hold it in until the alarm chirps once. This disables the alarm until you manually reactivate it.
3
To reactivate the alarm, turn the key to the "on" position and press the override button once. The alarm chirps twice, indicating the alarm is active.
Hope this helps!
Car wont start
sounds like the timing belt has gone would not keep trying to start engine if this is the case and it will cost you more to fix. it may have striped a cog on the belt or the adjuster has given up the goat. clicking and clunk is a most common sound of the belt going. if you have to have the belt changed and the engine runs and is ticking then the valves are bent and you will need to have the head changed or the valves replaced, as over time the valve can snap and then the engine is a gonner.

If this car is a automatic then it could be the inhibitor switch --wherever that is as please remember that a big petrol engine like this with a auto box is something i just do not see here in spain, try paying 10 dollars a gallon for fuel then you will understand why we have diesels with a manual gearbox
