The timing belt on the v 6 dohc is one of the longest timing belts you will ever see, It winds around one double set of cam pulleys, down around the crankshaft pulley through a belt tensioner, back up around the other set of double camshaft pulleys, then back down around the water pump pulley and finally back up to the camshaft pulleys where you started.
