I did a Tune up
it is fuel injected and the injectors are in a manifold at the inlet manifold
most misfires are injector related ( dirty tips , low fuel pressure or injector wiring harness) get a workshop manual from an auto parts shop
Cold auto Transmission won't shift into 3 gear
Sounds like a bad speed sensor. Perform an ODBII scan soon. ECU should delay upshift until coolant temp senses warm up. It will not work right unless a signal is present from speed sensor.
How do i check fuel pump and fuel pump relay

Individually...
Disconnect it's cable connector if possible.
Use a MultiMeter and a couple of jumper leads to +12v & ground.
Or the cheap tester below will help.
Sometimes this is better done on the bench where you can see whats going on.
Relays are just using a 12v low current electromagnet being used to close a set of internal switches (contacts) to supply 12v to the Fuel Pump. The Relay Contacts carry a higher current than th fine thin wiring used on vehicles these days.
The fuel pump can be tested & run without the relay to prove it is working. Use jumper wires to Battery.
The relay can also be actuated (tested) using jumper leads & a multimeter. When the internal coil is energised it simply pulls switch contacts closed. A Multimeter across the contacts pins will prove this.

DIN 72552 defines contact numbers in relays for automotive use;
- 85 = relay coil -
- 86 = relay coil +

- 87a = normally closed contact

Mitsubishi Mighty Max 92 needs to be trouble shot.
I recommend changing out your transmission fluid, make sure you replace the screen too. After a vehicle have set for a long period of time it s good to flush all the fluids if you did replace them prior to the vehicle being stored.
92 mightymax with manual transmission that has
down a spacewagon a few years back and it as it was a rear wheel drive it wasnt difficult too do ,now i suspect that the clutch plate is bent where someone didnt aligh the clutch properly with home made broom handle alignment tool ,given the gearboxa good yank or used to big long bolts to pull it in and damaged the plate .i could be wrong but if the operating arm is touching the clutch and it has the right distance for the arm to push it in then this is problem
Reverse tail lights don't work
Find and check the reverse switch that should be by the shifter to make sure it is working. Use a multimeter to make sure the voltage is getting to the hot side of the switch if it doesn't work by hand.
Truck wont start but spray a little ether in it
When the key is first turned before cranking, the fuel pump comes on for a few seconds to prime the fuel system and bring it up to pressure and then shuts off. When you crank the engine, the fuel injectors start to function causing the fuel pressure to drop. So that's why the fuel pump kicks on while the engine is cranking and it will remain on until the ECM sees that everything is in working order and then commands the fuel pump to remain on until the ignition is turned off.
Is this a 4.3L Vortec Engine? If so, the (CRAB) injection assembly under the intake is faulty. It looks more like a spider than anything else. Be sure that you have adequate amount of fuel pressure because the (Crab Injection System) won't work at all. If it's an eight cylinder, may need to use a injector noid light. It's a special design light that plugs into the injector harness connector and lights up in pulses when engine is cranked. If there is no light, trace and check all wires leading from injector harness to ECU. Hope This Helps.
How do I go about manually resetting the
When service to the emission control system has been completed slide the
switch to the opposite position, turning off the warning light.
If the service was for the 120,000 mile interval remove the warning light bulb.
CAUTION: If the speedometer is to be replaced set the odometer to
the same reading as the odometer being removed. (consult your local
motor vehicle laws)
Codes diagnostic
Code 13 is a problem with the intake air temp sensor.Code 15 is a problem with the idle speed control motor sensor circuit.Code 21 is a problem with the coolant temp sensor.And code 24 is a vehicle speed sensor fault.You would need to erase the codes and see how many come back again before you start testing components. Something may have happened to the engine wiring harness.
