Serpentine belt broken
Places are hard up for work, right now. So, short of lucking out and locating a diagram online, you're left with getting a repair manual from the dealer which will cost you about as much as the tow and repair at the dealer.
Your problem is do you pay the money for the work or the book. Are you going to do it yourself next time ?? You'll also need a LARGE handle for a socket wrench in order to pry the tension wheel down far enough to get the belt in place.
My Nissan takes two people; one to crank down on that wheel while the other slips the belt in place.

If your Mercedes is a diesel, you may have a fungus growing in your fuel system. The tank gets coated with the fungus and plugs up everything. Try replacing your fuel filter. You may need to replace it several times after you get it running. If it is a diesel and this is the problem, you may want to drop and clean the tank.
