When I hit a bump the heater stop for a few seconds

Are you saying the blower motor stops working? That might be a sign of bad brushes in the blower motor? If that is the case, replace the blower motor. You could check the wiring connector for blower motor. In the past, I have taken faulty blower motor apart, and those little brushes were wore down to the nub. A bump can cause the brushes to make better contact, or lose contact in your case. Could be other issues, the blower motor needs voltage and ground. Just my opinion.

06 chevy impala hood light on and none of my intruments inside the car work

Hood light on ????? hood ajar light ! Could be the switch . But without testing this would be a guess . Do you know how to test automotive electrical circuit's ? Do you know anything about automotive electronic's ? BCM - body control modules ( computer ) The first diagnostic procedure would be to hook up a factory or a professional scanner an check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's in the BCM . Wiper/Washer System Components The Wiper/Washer System consists of the following components: • Windshield wiper/washer switch • Body control module (BCM) • Wiper PCB relay • Wiper high PCB relay • Windshield wiper motor • Windshield washer fluid pump • Windshield washer fluid level switch • WPR fuse 25 A • WSW fuse 10 A Your best bet , take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop. Nothing you can do without knowledge an proper diagnostic equipment .

Why does the engine run when I spray starter fluid in the intake?

Check the fuel pump relays and fuses first, then check the connections on the fuel pump as they may not be hooked up as tightly as needed and/or the ground strap may be broken or loose

I have a 2006 Impala,

The oil is being burned and probably being pulled past the rings (Known as blowby). A 2006 does not need synthetic oil. Even though synthetic is touted as being superior in tolerance to heat and wear additives. It can cause problems in older engines that are designed to use Dino Multigrade oil. Check you manual or cap. If it was using regular (Dino) oil from the start , keep using it. The synthetic may be too thin for the tolerances of you rings and pistons.

I have a 2006 Chevy Impala 3.5 Engine. My dash says "Engine Hot Turn Off AC".

If your radiator has a cap, take some coolant and start the engine cold. Drive the car to a hill and park uphill. Remove the cap and restart the engine. Let it warm up until you can see coolant flowing in the radiator. Top it off and let any bubbles come out. Then make sure the reservoir is at the proper level. If it still overheats after doing this, the problem is not air. If your radiator has no cap, you can take the same approach, but just open the reservoir and keep it at the proper level.

I changed the water pump on my 2006 Chevy impala

You may have shorted out a wire or two during the replacement. I would check the wiring harnesses under the hood, all the fuses and for error codes (DTC's) using a code reader before doing anything else.

Car won't go into gear, only neutral

Too much trans fluid would not prevent it from going into gear. Do you have a check engine light on? This is probably going to be expensive. Get it to a transmission shop.
