Why might my car not start?
Think the battery is dead. It is possible that the accident caused some damage to the wiring so that when you shut it down, the battery is being discharged.
Get battery charged and car running. then with car totally off hook up ammeter to battery and look for current draw. Then start removing fuses till you come across the circuit responsible for the draw and further troubleshoot that circuit for the offender. Till you find it leave fuse out so you can start car a few days later.

When a/c on the side vent blow cool air but middle two blow hot why
Suspect a blend door motor/actuator not working properly. These doors control hot/cold as well as air flow direction. It may be an electrical or vacuum problem or even a defective motor/actuator causing this problem. In some cases the ducting can come loose that caries the airflow to the vents especially if there was an aftermarket stereo/alarm/remote start has been added as it may have been disturbed during installation. You may want a pro to look at the system as it can be complicated to diagnose
Why does the ets light keep coming on and mechanic cant fix why
I keep saying, electrical faults should be dealt with a qualified, experienced auto electrician. I can fix an engine, do a bit of bodywork but I am not a trained auto electrician. If you offered me the job because I might be able to earn some money but there is no guarantee I could get to the bottom of the problem. Take your to a competent auto electrician who is familiar with your make and model and you will probably be pleasantly surprised.
Horses for courses.
Good Luck with it
Hard to steer when starting out or slowing down
Once again someone post something that he has no clue about, you could do a little research on the subject ! There is no serpentine belt or power steering fluid because this vehicle has
The electric power steering (EPS) system reduces the amount of effort needed to steer the vehicle. The system uses the body control module (BCM), power steering control module (PSCM), torque sensor, discrete battery voltage supply circuit, EPS motor, serial data bus, and the instrument panel cluster (IPC) message center to perform the system functions. The PSCM, torque sensor, not the EPS motor are serviced separately from each other or from the steering column. Any EPS components diagnosed to be malfunctioning requires replacement of the steering column assembly, also known as the EPS assembly.
Do you have a EPS light lit on the instrument cluster or
message center to display PWR STR (or Power Steering) warning message ? GM had a recall on these !
How do you change a headlight bulb on a hhr...
The procedure is in the owners manual, but it is not easy. You need to
turn the wheels in (to right for drivers side) and then shut car off.
Then you will need to loosen the inside front wheel well, which is
plastic, until you can bend it out of the way enough to reach inside to
the bulb. The bulb twists out with a 1/4 turn to the left and then
unplugs. Just a hint, make sure that the gasket comes out with the bulb
and that you only use one when you reinstall the new bulb. If you need to replace the fog lights, that bulb is replaced the same
way.
