Chevy cobalt 2006
Hi Mildred, I'm glad to help!
Mildred, no matter what type of vehicle were talking about when it comes to dying issues it can be a lot of things causing the problem. If the problem occurs when you come to a stop it could be the "IDLE AIR CONTROL" OR on some vehicles the "EGR VALVE". If the problem occurs while driving done the road it could be wiring problems or connector issues, fuel pump issues, Cam or Crank Sensor issues. Engine Controller issues. You can try tapping on the idle air solenoid and see if the engine raves up and you can also perform a wiring wiggle test on all the wiring with the engine running and see if it dies. You can also tap on the fuel tank and see if it dies. These are a few things you can try to find what the problem is. As you see Mildred, when you get into dying issues it can be very difficult to find the problem. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Mildred.
