I have steering wheel mounted controls that have

without more detail, are we talking audio/cruise control/and the like .
On the back side of the steering wheel there are metal rings that the switch wires are connected to, they make contact to spring loaded pins.
that way the wheel can go around and around .
some times its as simple as cleaning those contacts.
if all the switches went out at the same time i would check the wire terminal plugs at the bottom of the steering column.
your local chevy dealer can help you out on parts.
or if your trying to economize try a local or on-line automotive recycling yard.
hope this gets you going

2006 Alvalance service engine light is on steady..

the dealer will have the part, real common, there also may be a service bulletin to add a filter onto the vent valve. as for a diagram, when you have the part in your hand, and you look at the back of the fuel tank, you'll figure it out.

2004 avalanche wheel bearing hub assembly will not

If ALL bolts are out....hit it with a sledge hammer to loosen it if necessary.
Side hits should do it.
Make sure you have the correct replacement because the old one will be no good after hitting it to remove it.

Blower motor doesnt work at all.

Jump power to the blower from the battery using a couple of pieces of wire, if it doesn't run then the motor has burnt out.

I have 2007 chevy avalanche,..all the doors including the tailgate lock when I press the power locking button but when I press the unlock button only the front doors unlock but both rear doors as well as the tail gate wont unlock... I have to manually unlock the rear doors but now the tail gate qont come out of the unlocked position leaving it stuck closed....any suggestions

Depending on what you have for diagnostic knowledge and tools. You may want to send it in for diagnostics and repair. I can tell you that your vehicle's BCM (Body Control Module) controls these circuits. If it was a t my shop. I would first look for any fault codes. Then through the scan tool, manually command the doors to lock and unlock. Depending on what I find, take a closer look at the master control switch. This is in the drivers door and opens/closes windows and locks/unlocks doors. I'm forwarding you a couple wiring schematics just in case. I don't want to slow you down. FYI under the hood, inside the power distribution box. There is a relay for the tailgate lock/unlock. Any questions please feel free to write back. Good Luck. 2013-01-03_151104_ava-vedhudkhtg2d25qwad5sb33r-5-0.gif 2013-01-03_151140_ava2-vedhudkhtg2d25qwad5sb33r-5-2.gif

Looking for location of the keyless remote control module on a 2010 Chevrolet Avalanche LT

Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) The remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR) is a multifunction module that operates both the keyless entry system as well as the tire pressure monitoring (TPM) system. When an RF message is received from a keyless entry transmitter, the RCDLR interprets this signal and will request via serial data that the body control module (BCM) perform the specific function, i.e. door lock, door unlock, or vehicle locate. The RCDLR also sends messages out to the 2 Way Advanced Remote Start transmitter. Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) (AP3 or AP8, without E52) Top rear of the passenger compartment above the rear window Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) (AP3 or AP8, with E52) Left rear of the vehicle behind the D-pillar trim panel Body Control Module (BCM) On the lower left side of the I/P to the left of the steering column Good luck !
