Installing a Dual XDVD276 radio in a 2005 Chevy Impala without the factory end of the wiring harness.

You will need to splice the wires as it will be hard to find the right connector to attach to the harness wires. Use the wiring diagram for the car (get it at Alldatadiy.com) and the one that came with the Dual unit to figure out which wires connect to each other.

My 2004 Impala would not crank without me holding the gas down, once it started it ran rough and would not idol.It has 97000 miles.I managed to get it about 1/4 mile down the road and it died. I crank

That's low mileage for that old of a car (13 years). Well, first you need to check all the fluids before trying to start it again. Check the wiring and wiring harnesses over carefully for signs of burning or melting of insulation. Since it was running poorly before it stalled, you should run a scan for trouble codes to see if there is any help in troubleshooting what was going on. If you have performed normal maintenance like spark plugs and air and gas filters, start with checking that gas and spark is getting to the cylinders. A healthy engine only needs gas and spark to run. If you need help, watch videos on YouTube for all manner of repair help.

2005 Impala, directional signals inoperative. Flashers are working. Replaced the hazard warning switch. Still no directional signals, hazards work. Now, car will not start.Buzzing sound from hazard sw

There is a good possibility that the hazard warning and directional signal lights have nothing to do with the starting or operation of the engine. There are many things that might cause the car to fail to start. The battery must be fully charged, and in good working condition. No corrosion on the terminals. good solid connections. When you turn the key the starter motor should turn the engine over. If that works the carburetor will need gas. If you have gas and spark, the engine should run. Hope that helps. Turn signals work with the tail lights and parking lights on the front. You should turn on the Head lights and check to see if the tail lights and parking lights come on. You will also want to check to see if the flasher is plugged in. All the light bulbs must be plugged in and working to operate the flasher for the turn signals. good luck

After stopping the car shifts

You may have a voltage problem. There are voltage regulators in the cluster circuit that regulates the gauges. They are usually on the printed circuit and that is labor intensive and involves replacing the circuit. Or it can be the sending unit in the tank. The fact that the car hard shifts and the abs lamp is coming on may indicate that there is an electrical bug in your system. check several circuits with volt meter.

2003 Chevy Impala Service Traction Sytem show on Dash

I can't answer the question about the gas fumes, but I had the same problem last year with the "Service Traction Sysytem" message and the Trac and ABS lights coming on in my Impala. Mine turned out to be because of a bad wheel bearing, that was causing the ABS and traction system not to work. I'm not sure if you've experienced this, but another thing that would happen with mine was that I would go to brake and have a hard time depressing the brake pedal, almost like it was pushing back. That is the point when the Trac and ABS lights came on.

GAS EFFICIENCY PROBLEMS!

Have your temperature sending unit tested. This sensor is connected to the computer and tells the computer to put engine in "cold start mode". When this sensor doesn't tell the computer to shut off cold start mode, the engine is getting more fuel still after warm-up. That could be causing your excessive fuel usage. As for the fuel gage, don't be concerned. It's working properly. When going up a hill the gas goes to the back of the tank where the float is and causes gage to rise, and vice versa when going downhill.

Service traction system

Don't mess with the ABS light get it diagnosed and fixed. Your brakes will work with the ABS light on but you will skid because the system will switch to basic hydraulic action with no control of how much to each wheel. If ABS is on then it is not working.

Why does my 2005 impala leak dexcool like crazy, which throws my heat off.

It's either leaking or burning the dexcool due to a bad gasket. Check your oil to make sure the coolant isn't leaking into the oil. If it is STOP driving it and have it towed to a shop. Coolant in your oil can destroy your engine.

Trying to hook up after market radio inside my

I'm not a stereo person, I'm a wire chaser. I looked at wiring for your sound system w/o amplifier in database. Did you check radio fuse for voltage, use a test light, hot all the time. The radio also has to have ground, ground wires are usually black. Did the after market radio come with instructions? Some radios have an anti-theft lock out, if that is the problem I can't help you. Your radio manufacturer may have a web site where you can ask questions? Just to add, the12volt.comhas installer info. It's interesting.radio fuse-x0w5nb4iw3f2kf0rvjit05xc-2-0.jpg
