you probably have the same problem i do with my car. My fuel regulator is leaking. I have to go have it replaced. It has taken us a year to find the problem because after the car is warm it doesn't leak. Good luck with it.....my car is the same year, make, and model. They must have just not made these very well. You may have a voltage problem. There are voltage regulators in the cluster circuit that regulates the gauges.
