Will not engage gears shifter moves freely

Check your linkeage bushing (plastic). Dorman makes a replacement, these tend to break. In the mean time, you can Jerry rig it. I've seen people use zip ties to get by.

Driver door panel not working.

Ali, there is a recall for the drivers side door master switch. I believe 04' was included in the recall, regardless this problem affects ALL years of our platform. Water is able to penetrate the switch, say you open your door when it's raining out. Eventually the switch will start to melt out and can be a fire concern. 2 ways you can do this, call the dealer give them your vin # to see if 04 is included in the recall. OR pull one out of a wrecking yard, BUT, have the dealer on the phone when you do to give them the serial # off the master switch. Some of the newer TB's already had the problem fixed.

Po-133 on '04 trailblazer after replaced MAP , both o2 sensors

Has to do with the timing in the monitoring period, Bosch isn't quite within the specs for our vehicle. Hopefully you used a different brand 02 sensor? Other problems could be low fuel pressure, faulty injectors or an intake leak. Check your intake bolts, our intake is plastic and the bolts DO come loose often. Re-tighten, erase the code and see if that works.

2004 Trailblazer MAP Sensor

For our I6 engine....The MAP sensor is located on drivers side right next to the firewall very top, easy to get to. It does have a seal, as you'll notice when you pull it out, very hard to leak air though. It CAN be clean with a MAP sensor spray cleaner, usually doesn't work though if the sensor is going bad. Using the compressor to clean your air filter only works so many times. I'd replace that. On a side note, our engines love AC Delco 41-103 spark plugs, others won't run quite as well.

2004 Trailblazer motor good after rollover? Yes/No......?

with an engine upside down and running, the oil pump runs dry the bearings are running with out oil or lubrication with the engine shut off the oil will settle in the pistons and will leak past the rings int the combustion chambers, into the rocker covers and into the air inlets and manifold the coolant will be contained as the system is pressurized and cannot get anywhere it is not supposed to get to transmission /diff oil may have leaked out of the breather holes but otherwise will be contained should you purchase the vehicle , it will be necessary to remove the sump and check the bearings for damage, replace the oil pump. Remove the plugs and turn the engine by hand over to push any oil out of the combustion chambers with the vehicle sitting right way up any oil will run back to the sump except that which is in the air intake and manifold Basically it should be in a recoverable state,if the engine was shut down quickly enough check the crankcase around the engine mounts for cracks as the engine weighs a lot and the throwing around can stress where the mounts are

The 2004 Trailblazer will not go into forward gears but will reverse while in 2 WD. It will go into forward gears while in 4 WD. What's wrong?

First I would check the PowerTrain Control Module for any thrown diagnostic troubleshoot codes by using a code reader. I am unsure if there is a separate transmission computer module for your vehicle. If there is, a code reader will be necessary. I will assume that the "check engine light" or MIL did not illuminate or the 4wd or 2wd light flash since you did not mention it. If the car can move forward and backward in 4wd, then it's not the transmission itself since power is transferred through the output shaft of the transmission to the transfer case. I would think that 4-wheel drive mode is not fully disengaging- Check the vacuum hoses for damage, crimps, or leaks Check and test the vacuum actuator check and test the transfer case switch check the vacuum actuator cable for damage or defect check and test the encoder motor actuator on the transfer case Buy a repair book or shop manual specific to the year, make, and model of the car you are having problems with that offers descriptive troubleshoot and repair procedures with illustrations. You can purchase them as soft or hardcover books or electronic downloads. Here are a few publishers, Chilton, Haynes, Motors, etc. Do an online search or go to your local auto parts store. Otherwise, if you are not savvy in automotive diagnostic & repair, I would highly recommend flat-bedding the vehicle to a reputable transmission repair shop that has ASE certified transmission technicians. The reason you need to place your vehicle on a flat-bed car carrier - is to avoid serious damage to the transmission.
