Bill what does heat mean to much to little what engine, low on antifreeze, bad thermostat please repost

There are lots of cars that have computer modules mounted under the seats, not to mention loads of wiring and connectors. Unfortunately you might have a huge mess on your hands. Disconnect the battery and dry everything out as best you can, and after that hook up the battery and cross your fingers. I wonder if that type of mishap is covered by auto or homeowners insurance...

Yes, I just had the samething happen today. DONT drive it anymore. The gears in your rear is about to break. My right gear for the axle broke into pieces. Now i have to make a decision of replacing all the parts broke or replace the whole rear.

Check this procedure for Canyon, Colorado 2004-2005 - Removal & Installation
-
Drain the cooling system.
-
Raise and support the vehicle only high enough to access the thermostat housing through the wheelhouse.
-
Remove the left wheelhouse liner.
-
Remove the radiator inlet hose from the thermostat housing.
-
Remove the thermostat housing bolts.
-
Remove the thermostat housing from the engine block.
-
Clean and inspect the thermostat housing.
-
Clean and inspect the sealing surface of the engine block.
To install:
-
Position the thermostat housing to the engine block.
-
Install the thermostat housing bolts and tighten to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
-
Connect the radiator inlet hose to the thermostat housing.
-
Install the left wheelhouse liner.
-
Lower the vehicle.
-
Fill the cooling system.
-
Inspect all sealing surfaces for leaks after starting the engine.
-

Position the hose clamp pliers to the clamp to remove the radiator inlet hose from the thermostat housing.

Remove the thermostat housing bolts.

Remove the thermostat housing from the engine block.

Clean and inspect the thermostat housing.

Clean and inspect the sealing surface of the engine block.
To install:
-
Position the thermostat housing to the engine block.
-
Install the thermostat housing bolts and tighten to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm).

Connect the radiator inlet hose to the thermostat housing.
-
Install the left wheelhouse liner.
-
Lower the vehicle.
-
Fill the cooling system.
-
Inspect all sealing surfaces for leaks after starting the engine.

Window on driver side doesnt
you should be able to test the switch with a test light , but most cases it is a worn pwr window motor. I have turned the key to the on position,engine off and hold the pwr window button down while you slam the door hard. the window will go to working for a while longer. you need a window motor
