Usually if the water pump is leaking it will wet the pulley and fluid will get on the belt. With the engine off can you shove a paper towel under the water pump area and then look for traces of coolant on it?Also,it is common for a water pump to leak then not leak over and over when it is failing.
Hi, you wont be able to move the wipers manually as they will be locked by the motor. There is only two obvious reasons why the motor should fail again. The new motor was a poor quality replacement or there is an underlying problem on the car like the wiper motor mechanism has excessive play or is stiff/tight and over working the motor causing it to fail. you need to have a proper check over before swapping it again.
Check your filter as well as the gas line to see if there's any kinks in the line or damage to the fuel filter.. whatever you went over could've done something to it..
Input shaft speed sensor or out put speed sensor . Have the vehicle checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's . This would probably point you in a diagnostic direction .
Fuel injector are worn out they. Might be dribbling as a bigger engine it won't stall or flood it raises the idling making you feel it's power but consuming more fuel
Based on the gasping sound I would think that you need to check the solenoid on the starter. Sounds like it is trying to engage the starter. Make sure one of you battery cables is loose and both are tight on the battery. If you have a tester I would also check for voltage at the battery. Hope this helps.
On the front of the engine, no matter what engine all have the cover in the front, that would be the passenger side of the engine on front wheel drive models
so the starter was tested but was it tested properly
was a torque test done to check the pinion drive clutch for operation
sounds like either that clutch is faulty or the pinion drive is not being moved out by the solenoid linkage before the starter is engaged
Your positive no fuel is getting to the fuel rail an injectors ! Did you hook up a fuel pressure gauge ? The anti-theft system will shut off fuel injectors on GM vehicles . SECURITY light lit on the instrument cluster ? Here is a video on testing GM fuel pump electrical circuit . GM Fuel Pump Relay Testing Do you know what relays are ?
Replace fuel pump ? You want to know how it's done ? Drop the fuel tank out of the vehicle ! Hope you don't have a full tank . Go on youtube an watch a video on the subject .
Does it just die or does it drop rpms and like shudder first? Also what is the year, make, and model of said vehicle?Sounds like it could be the wires in the push button starter making contact and turning off the car. I would start there looking for exposed copper wire, if you find some you can either put some electrical tape around it(just as a temporary fix) or disconnect the battery and trim the wires (one by one so you know where they connect correctly). You could also go to auto zone, advance auto, Napa, etc and get a replacement ignition and/or go to a mechanic, just be aware of you take it to a mechanic, electrical issues can be pretty expensive. Keep me posted on what you find out so we can make sure this gets fixed for you. Also if you do go to advance auto or auto zone have them check your battery and connections, it only takes a few minutes and it's free, this may also detect if it's just a battery issue, doesn't sound like it but it's always good to be sure. You take it an have DTC'S checked in the air bag control module . Have it fixed ,then the light will go out . Your best bet is take it to a ASE certified repair shop . You wouldn't want to have an unintended airbag deployment . People have been killed from not knowing what they were doing an setting off an airbag !
The security, antitheft or lock picture/icon is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, the car misinterprets this as an attempt at theft and goes into antitheft mode. The car thinks its being stolen or hotwired because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. This is why the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle. This link explains it pretty well.

Hi there my name is Brandon I am a electronic and mechanical engineering technician I am the man that mechanics bring cars too when they cant fix them or cant find the electric problem I am a 4 generation mechanic and have help 10 thousand or more people who are like you don't know what is problem or don't know how to fix it !!! It could be the switch or the switching door to it
Thank you and God bless you Your electronic and mechanical engineering technician Brandon B.. Email address is brandonbrownfeb1990.bb @gmail.com
