Remove cover and see if anything is out of place,bulb or holder could have corrusion on them or wet inside,got to look to know.

repl temp sensor. run 12v to motor, does it run? could be resistors, they're hidden all over the car, thanks to the ******* engineers that put this piece of **** together. or the fan blades could be blocked.

radiator clogged, did someone put stop-leak in it? Remove thermostat drill two 3/16" holes in it 180degress apart, install 12 degree cooler thermostat.

check to see if fan clutch is working properly.

ive heard people say that on a auto transmission on a BMW that if it wont go into reverse there might be something wrong with the transmission... just a thought, i might be wrong

Check all the heat shields on the exhaust.

have you checked to see if air con is permantly engaged on pulley check to see if disengaged when turned off

This is most likely due to a faulty temp sensor which screws into the radiator. Once this cools down it should open the circuit and allow the relay to open as well. If the sensor is constantly closed it will close the relay and keep the fan on thus draining the battery. I would replace the relay and sensor assembly due to high heat while these systems are running. The sensor should be nearest the fill neck on the radiator. Let me know if you need anything else.

Sounds like the linkage has come off the handle inside the door. The door panel will need to be removed to gain access to the linkage. Be careful when removing the panel! Some are held on by plastic snap clips, others by screws (some hidden some not), Also the linkage may be retained by a small plastic clip that holds it to the handle itself. If this is broken you can usually find a replacement at a auto parts store in the HELP section or by showing and asking a sales person there.

Could be final resistor.

The car can start up and run but the battery light is on, is this correct? if this is correct then have the alternator and battery tested, you may have a bad alternator or battery, most of the time the battery light turns on when battery voltage is less than 12 volts and the alternator is not charging the battery above 12 volts, test alternator, the car will die out if the alternator is not charging the battery, the engine will run until the voltage in the battery gets to low and then the car will start to do funny things, if the computers in your car do not have the correct voltage they will send false readings and make the engine run bad and shut down. good day.
