My battery went dead and now when I try to charge it the car alarm goes off. I didn't even know I had an alarm. I have no remote to activate it.

you will have to bypass the alarm, to the left of the steering wheel, behind the vent are two boxes (modules) the alarm has two connectors, one has 6 wires and the other has 10, the 6 pin has a red wire and a red and black wire, jump those two together and you will bypass your alarm completely

Turn igniton and nothing happens gauges work but want start

Does the acc position work. if so....Under the dash there are two wires, one is red and the other is red/black, these are a heavy gauge wire so you wont miss them, strip some sheilding off of each one and touch them together with your ignition in the acc/on position, does the starter try to turn? (it wont start unless the clutch is pressed) if so your ignition switch is bad, just take some leads off of those two wires and run them to a momentary switch that will carry the voltage and use that switch to start your car

96 JETTA TREK RUNNING HOT I HAVE REPLACED THE UPPER RADIATOR HOSE AND WATER PUMP WHAT COULD BE THE CAUSE OF THE OVER HEATING

Run the car and check your hoses, Most likely it is the thermostat sticking closed and not allowing water to flow back to the radiator if your top hose is not hot and you can squeeze it then it is your thermostat.

Radiator fan not working

Your Fan Control Module or FMC is the long black relay located underneath your coolant bulb, It is mounted onto a bracket on the drivers side shock tower, to test your fans you can take off the temp sensor located on the drivers side tank on your radiator, jump the terminals and the fan should come on in low speed, turn your ignition to the on position and jump them and it should turn onto high speed. The best solution is to wire the fan to a 12v switched power source on high speed.
