Where is the crCrankshaft position sensor located on a 1999 Oldsmobile silhouette 3400 V6

I had this issue on my 2001 Aurora. The fuel gauge is part of the fuel pump assembly. Replacing the entire unit is expensive. I found a write-up online where a guy showed how to buy just the gauge part and repair it yourself. Took me about and hour and $23.50 in parts.

Remove battery cables and clean battery terminals, reattach cable and tighten.

There is no simple solution for this problem. A mechanic will have to see the linkage and cable to diagnose the problem and affect repairs. Sorry.

First run a fault code test on the engine control module to make sure the problem is not in the electronics, if all is ok then the transmission is starting to fail.

# 5 on front ac has to work for rear to work..if it works then there is a switch that controls the rear cost about $80..and the blower back by compressor also was out on mine...there is a fuse that can make #5 setting on front ac work check that first
