1999 mitsubishi montero sport where do you put in freon
Best to buy a manual for this one or have shop do it for you. The AC system can be quite dangerous if done incorrectly. There is a high pressure and low pressure AC line and you don't want to make the mistake of choosing the wrong one.
99 montero fuel pump relays
Fuel pump relays are designed to trigger the power from using the power system of the vehicle to a direct battery power connection. Relays save the sensitive power used accessories by not robbing the power from them and bypassing them to use the power right from the battery source.
For example, if a relay was not used for the pump, it would lower the idle on your car everytime it turned on. Having a relay allows the pump to run and not steal valuable voltage from the cars system. These fuel relays are also a safety device in case of a car accident. The car has shock sensors that react in a car accident and shut the fuel pumps off through the relays so the occupants do not burn in an accident. If these continued to run after an accident and fuel continued to be pumped at a high pressure rate, you can imagine what the consequences might be.
Relays make the route to the battery to run the item, more direct. Bypassing the cars needed power to run the vehicle.

How many quarts are needed
Hi,
You need about 3.5 quarts or until the filing hole drips when putting the gear oil. SAE 90W is required, add some aftermarket lubricant additive for best result.
Hope that helps you!
My tail lights do not work when lights are on but I still have brake lights what is the problem? I have already changed fuses
It more likely than not is a blown fuse. Under the hood in the engine compartment is a fuse panel usually next to the battery. Remove the cover and check all the fuses for the lights. It should be a 10A fuse. That was the problem with my Montero Sport. If it's not the fuse, you may have a bad switch, faulty ground or loose wire somewhere. Try to move the tilt wheel up and down and see if the lights come back on. If so, the wire is loose somewhere around there or even possibly broken inside the insulation. If no lights come back on, the switch may be bad or as mentioned before, you may have a faulty ground. I'd suggest hiring a mechanic who's knowledgable in electrical systems. Also companies who install car alarms and electronics may be able to troubleshoot the problem for you. Best of luck to you.
4 wheel drive mode stuck. Please help!
Why can't the mechanic fix it? I could pull the motor and put you in two wheel drive. You could need a module, but most likely it is a ground problem. Could be a motor problem also. Find another mechanic that can disgnose lctrical problems.
