How to remove radio in a 1998 mitisubiti Montero sport

Most radio removal requires the dash display covering to be removed to access the bolts for the radio removal. Once that has been removed, you will probably see how they installed it at the factory and it will be pretty simple.

Have you done a tune up on the car? Change the spark plugs, check and change the intake filter and fuel filter, and add some fuel additive to restore the power back to the engine.

Wipers not working

If you hear the wiper motor running but the blades do not move then the linkage grommet that connects the two wiper arms to the motor needs to be replaced. If you don't hear the motor running it could be a loose connection, a bad switch, a blown fuse, a burned or shorted wire, or a bad motor. Only an electrical multimeter and patience will sort out an electrical issue.

Why is my transmission struggling to maintain gear at 35 mph?

I would take it to 2 or 3 or more different shops and ask for an estimate to fix it.. they will probably know what causes this condition. and probably will not charge you anything.. if they want to charge you for an estimate go somewhere else. you really do not want to trust them.. When you get several estimates and several of them tell you the same thing then its a matter of who do you trust??.. Check the shops out on Yelp.. actually sounds like it could be something simple like throttle presure adjustment.. But i cannot see your car from here.

My drive side door inside is rattling when I drive it but I don't what is causing the noise on my montero sport

There is a connector on the frame of the car where the door locks onto when closed. It has 2 big phillip screwdriver screws holding it on. Loosen them a little and maybe knock it in just a tiny bit to make the door close tighter to the vehicle. Hope that helps.

Why isn't the alternator charging a new battery?

Alternator could be bad, or not connected which is unlikely. I would start by making sure the connection is good, there are no breaks in the wire, and that a substantial amount of voltage is coming from the alternator (~16V). Although, it is most likely in need of a new alternator.

1998 Mitsubishi Montero Sport will not run correctly after replacing alternator

My first thought was that when he replaced the alternator, he tightened up the bolt that holds the wire on too tight, snapping off the wire on the inside, these are to be only snug, not really tight. I now would have to say that the alt is grounding out on the inside, causing a short between battery hot and ground, which means charge sometimes, sometimes not with the shortcut wire on. Check to make sure your battery is in good condition and will hold a charge. Do not tighten that wire down real tight, its easy to break off. Once the lock washer flattens out, give 1/16 of a turn, no more.
