You may find it better to get the manual from a good auto parts shop.as it will have the whole car in it.

Most likely brake light switch bad or out of adjustment

il tell you "exactly" what the problem is,,,the gearbox it very low on oil,,,,if there is any left in it that is??? check the auto gearbox "dip stick" then top it up to just under the full mark start the engine and run through all the fears with the brakes held on you dont need to drive the car yet,,,,when the motor is hot check the gearbox dip stick again top up if needs be,,
now try it up the road,,,,i bet it drive's just fine now!

Check that the ignition wires have been connected correctly as the start-run circuit is separate to the run circuit.

with a fuel pressure gauge

Fuse links are designed to be cut out and replaced. Get new one for that circuit from dealer.

Depends on the car. All Toyota engines are not interference type engines, most others are interference types except a select few. Some of the engines were more forgiving than others. If it' a 2.4 mitsubishi, it's an interference engine, and a broken timing belt will cause bent valves, punching holes in the pistons, and the motor will need to be rebuilt/replaced.
