How to replace a head light switch on a 1997 ford thunderbird

You have to remove the front panel of the switch and replace the switch in the circuit. This may not be easy unless you have a manual that covers this procedure. The DS-148 appears to be the model for your vehicle. Try this link for more details: http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts/oe_replacement_headlight_switch_from_standard/STAHE71296.aspx

when turning one way only and making noise is most likely a wheel bearing. when turning it puts more pressure on one side and causes it to make noise.

How do i remove the caliper on a ford thunderbird 1997. I have done brake jobs before. Everyone knows the two bolts to remove to dislodge the old pads. Where these bolts usually are, I found two rubbe

Yes, pop out the rubber plugs ( dirt keeper outer's) and the caliper bolts are inside. They are Allen head bolts but I have seen a few with torx heads. Make sure to put the plugs back in when your done. I also like to put a dab of grease in there before I replace the plugs. (Stops rust). c5c1492a-1a81-42b9-b2e2-6174565e041a.jpg
