Why does idle flucuate on 2004 Dodge Durango 4.7?
There appears to be an idle speed control problem perhaps caused by a sensor, throttle body issue, or vacuum leak around this area, in a rare occasion this could be an issue within the PCM. Although, there is no service light on there could still be stored codes on the PCM. It would be a good idea to have the computer scanned even anyway.
How to remove a radiator
Without visually seeing your vehicle, you basically have to drain the radiator at the drain valve (sometimes referred to as the petcock) at the bottom corner of your radiator into a drain pan. Then in no particular order remove both upper and lower radiator hoses. Remove the electric fans if so equipped, (carefully remove all electrical connectors as not to break them in the process) and set it aside. Then remove the transcooler lines top and bottom, carefully removing the retaining clips holding these lines on. Again let these lines drain the fluid into a pan and if possible save this fluid in a clean manner so that it can be put back in the vehicle. Then remove any brackets holding the radiator in place including those attached to the condensor that sit in front of the radiator if it is attached directly to the radiator. Of course their may be other parts attached that must be removed depending on your model, but that is the basics of removing it from the vehicle. Then reverse the process in installing the new radiator, Putting either the anti-freeze/coolant that you drained out back in or replacing it with a fresh fifty-fifty mixture of anti-freeze /coolant. Making sure the transmission fluid is topped off to the proper amount of fluid or if you were able to save the fluid put it back in. Another factor is getting the transcooler lines snapped back in properly as to not have them popping apart going down the road. But the largest most important factor when installing the new radiator is to be extremely careful not to ding or damage the fins of the new radiator because they will leak and you will not be able to repair them unless you are extremely talented at radiator repair. Good luck

Key fob not working but when battery died is naking noises
It's quite likely the noises (clicking) you are hearing are electric mechanical relays struggling to activate. Bottom line is the battery is practically depleted of electricity. Connect a trickle charger to the battery, switch it to automatic charge and try starting the car after the voltage gauge displays a voltage measurement of 12 volts (which would require several hours), you may at least be able to drive it to a service center to avoid a towing cost, check your automobile insurance policy to see if you have towing reimbursement coverage. Call several service centers for price quotes while the battery is charging. Quite likely your electrical alternator (a mechanical part that charges the battery while the engine is operating) has failed and you have used the remaining electricity contained within your battery. If you or a family member/friend is mechanically inclined, many auto parts stores will test your alternator and battery free of charge. Batteries don't last forever, they can only recharge as long as their cells are healthy, so it's possible you also MAY require a new battery however it seems that your alternator may be the culprit here. Expect at 150-300 repair cost including a replacement alternator for professional mechanical service, plus the cost of a battery if required.
What does p0 567 and p0 700 mean on 2004 dodge durango? how to fix, drtails please. What you think est. cost would be?
P0567: Possible causes
- Faulty Cruise Control Resume Switch
- Cruise Control Resume Switch harness is open or shorted
- Cruise Control Resume Switch circuit poor electrical connection
P0700 is a generic code indicating problems with the transmission. It is a general code that alerts you of a fault with the transmission control section of the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
To access the specific code for the transmission, you need to take it to a dealership or transmission repair facility that has enhanced software capable of reading the transmission codes to determine what is wrong in the transmission. It could be simply a sensor or solenoid problem. The technician can access the specific code that will help him troubleshoot what is wrong.
Again, P0700 is simply a "flashing light" that indicates a problem in the transmission circuitry and nothing else.
