WHEN IGNITION IS ON I HAVE BOTH THE A/C AND THE RECIRC LEDS FLASHING, I HAVE RUN THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND IT CHECKS OUT GOOD
On the left side of the A\C control panel hold down the top and bottoms
buttons with the engine running and at full operating temperature, the blower speed on high, the mode set to vent, and the temp lever(s) set to full cold. When the lights on the panel come on solid and
then start flashing release buttons. It will take about 2 minutes or less
for it to calibrate. when the top left button is flashing you are
done. Press that button once or restart van all function should be
normal.

location of relay for radiator fans
First thing I would check is the fuse or the fan relay, located in the power distribution box under the hood. If that's not the problem, then I would find the coolant temperature sensor, unplug it with the key on and the fans should run.

should the cap be off the reservoir when I bleed the system? How does the air escape if the cap is on? i tried turning the wheels, but the pressure seemed to be so great that it pushed fluid from around where the reservoir connects to the pump..also, the fluid is very foamy. How can I get all the air out?
1. Dont turn the wheel all the way to the locks stop just shy of them..keep turning it back and forth
2. The air will escape thru the cap its vented
3. You may have to do it a bit them let the fluid rest for 5 mins and do it again...repeat this till its clear
Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/sean_54c3a3dc48a7773c

1998 dodge caravan. AC problem. My AC doesnt work, the lights on the dash are blinking. I took the Van to C-Tire to get the AC recharged as the AC clutch was not turn when the van is running.
C-tire did a AC check and found that the AC system fails cool down test and the AC does not want to recover -restrictions with in the system.
What the heck does this mean????
do this calibration reset, it will usually rest he lights and the ac will work again, if it doesn't reset you have a part failure and the dealer you need to hook a Chrysler scan tool to diagnose the problem.
CALIBRATION/DIAGNOSTICS TEST ENTRY
TO INITIATE TESTS:
Set Blower motor ON HIGH
Set Mode position to Panel
Set Temperature to Cold (Both slide pots if equipped)
Depress WASH and REAR WIPER button simultaneously for 5 Seconds (Until all LED's light)
RESULTS:
All LED's will turn on for 5 Seconds
Calibration Test is running when REAR WIPER and INTERMITTENT are alternately flashing. Cooldown test is running if A/C and RECIRC are alternately flashing.
Acceptable results is REAR WIPER LED is the only LED flashing. Push Rear Wiper to exit.
After all tests have passed, Calibration Diagnostics and Cooldown can be run separately

2000 dodge caravan wipers dont work. I ran hot wire to wiper motor, it works. I have power at wiper switch, but not sure which wires to check
Heres a wiring diagram, this sounds like it may be a wiper module or a bad body control module, you have checked all your fuses and i assume they are good, heres a diagram to help you .

p1698
Code P1698 means
* P1698 PCM Failure EEPROM Write Denied
* P1698 -No CCD messages from the Transmission or Body Control Module (TCM or BCM) Probably needs a new PCM (Aka computer or ECU)

door ajar and interior lights stay on constantly
The switch that tells the computer that the door is closed is broken or has a loose wire. This causes the computer to think the door is open thus the door ajar and interior light on.Switch should be located on door jam.
