Yup! I just bet you ARE having problems trying to locate the wiring for the crank sensor.1995 Chevrolet Caprice Classic is only equipped with one of two engines:4.3L (VIN Code "W")5.3L (VIN Code "P"Niether of these engines were equipped with a crankshaft position sensor.

I do not understand your question.

1- TURN ON SWITCH TO WIPER HAS FAILED. 2- VACUUM DRIVEN WIPER HAS HOSE LEAK, OR ENGINE NEEDS VALVE JOB TO INCREASE VACUUM PERFORMANCE.

Could be a vacuum leak at the throttle body or intake manifold. Check torque specs for both then check vacuum hosing for cracks or loose connections.

Try bypassing your starter. It may be that. Is it trying to turn over or no? If it is it could be the alternator. If its not doing anything then it could be your starter. Turn the key to just get the battery working and see if your fuel pump is priming.

Now please forgive me here as iam a europeon mechanic whos never seen this model vehicle but from your description here the fuel is burning in the manifold so their is only one thing i can think of and the valves are not seating properly on the inlet side so the burning fuel is bypassing the valves or even one valve catching the fuel spray alight in the manifold ,this could be caused by a timing belt breaking at some time or someone changing the timing belt and crunching a valve or its not been set up right ,Anymore i would need by head under the bonnet and a play around to work out exactly whats wrong ,best advice is to trade it in quick whilst its running and buy a small economical car like a citreon diesel or a VW one .

The first place I would check would be the ignition coil. These are pretty bad for "arcing" in wet weather. Take a spray bottle full of water and spray the ignition coil with the engine running. If the coil is bad, you will probably see sparks at the coil and possibly the engine will die. If the coil is good, it should be able to take all of the water you can give it with a spray bottle.Also, if this does not produce results, also spray the distributor cap and wires and look for the same thing.
