Battery keeps draining and i blow a fuse on the rear tailights every time i put on the brakes

check if your alternator is charging at the correct rate. it should not exceed 14 volts. if it does, then change the regulator on the alternator and your problem is solved.

Won't accelerate when i hit the gas

Does your car seem to be down in power compared to what you would consider normal? If yes, I would get the MAF checked, and probably cleaned. New one is like 400 bucks, but they are easy to clean, and then act just like new again. You just have to be careful and gentle, cause if you should happen to break one of the sensor wires, its done. Otherwise, it sounds like its in the master computer, but isn't too serious a thing. Financially wise. When you release the accelerator, does it react immediately, or do you have to depress a few times before it seems to respond? Good luck.

Speedometer needle is stuck behind the pin

Here is how it happens, The positive battery cable was loose, after adjusting the battery cable the speedometer needle went under the retention ping.
How to fix it:
1- remove the positive battery cable
2- have a person to look at the speedometer needle
3- Make the battery cable to touch the positive terminal of the battery (this will make the needle to jump over the retention pin)
4- Tight cable again.

Often bulbs fail and the filament touches and energizes another circuit. Check all bulbs first.

My 2001 Buick Regal sunroof closes to far down and will not open up.

What may not be obvious is the fact that the sunroof is NOT water tight. Water will come in no matter what. I suggest that you verify that all 4 drains are clear and open. this is not an easy task, but each corner of the tray, inside the vehicle has a hose that runs through the roof pillars and allows water to escape. What happens is foreign materials, like pine needles and dirt block the drains. They are pretty small.

How do i locate the egr valve on 2000 hyundai accent.

The Only engines that have EGR that I am aware of are the 2.4 in EF and SM chassis, and the 3.0/3.5 in XG and SM chassis.Look at emission/vacuum routing label.. it'll tell you if equipped w/ EGR, but I dont think 1.5 has it myself.

2001 buick regal ls hesitation on heavy acceleration

Hello

The engine and the automatic transmission in this vehicle are computer controlled and in most cases when a fault occurs a fault code is stored in the memory of the computer control module. There are exception to this, such as the Mass Airflow Meter and fuel pressure problems. What must be done is to have all the basic testing done such as a scan of the system for fault codes as well as a check with a live data scanner tool for engine functions that are not within range of normal, a trained technician is required to know what is correct and what isn't, then based on careful diagnostics done from a factory repair manual the correct part is replaced or the wiring repaired or the computer replaced (known as the PCM), which is very rarely the problem. Other basic checks must be done as well such as mechanical problems with the engine as well as engine state of tune and mileage on the engine. The transmission can have mechanical issues as well such as no gear engagement at all or a failed pump or other pressure related problems.

Power loss and stalling

HelloThe Engine and Automatic Transmission (not applicable to manual transmissions) in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM and TCM (Power Train Control Module, Transmission Control Module). When a problem like this or other drive-ability related problems occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. Also always check fuel pressure for correct spec for your make and engine type.
