Try this: with car running, disconnect the tps wiring harness. After a few seconds, reconnect it. Once it's reconnect, the idle should adjust itself.

It is obvious that the wire you are using is a power wire designed for something else IT is not a matter of any wire will do as you have found out as you are into the CPU controls area. Have the radio professionally fitted before you do real costly damage.

Check your coolant level. Could be a stuck closed thermostat.

Regarding the coolant level sensor, I had to remove the battery on my 2000 in order to "tap" the new sensor in. It has two O-rings on it and I couldn't get enough leverage to press it in w/o removing the battery. Perhaps others can do it w/o removing the battery but that's what I ended up doing.

Sounds like you have flattened the battery, the buzzing sound is the starter solenoid tripping in and out due to low power so the lights start flicking, charge battery or boost start from another vehicle

Check the taillight fuse, too (15 amp fuse next to the 7.5A instrument panel fuse). If this fuse blows, the dash lights will go out, too. I don't know why they did that, but they did. The next step then is to find out why the taillight fuse blows. It has done this repeatedly on my mom's 2002 Century. Haven't found the short yet.

change the wiper relay.

Go to the auto parts store and buy a new ignition switch and key, remove the steering wheel and replace it.
