Hi, you dont say how much oil is in the body but if its a high miler some residue is normal as it seems to make its way up via the vent tube. This can be cleaned out with a good throttle body cleaner. But remove the body from the intake system first as you dont want to dose the engine with this stuff as it will cause the engine to over run if too much is fed into the intake. Let it dry out before re starting the car. Be carefull.

You will need to take it to somebody that has a scan tool or a OBD 2 or better scanner. I think ammco, kragen, or autozone will hook up a scan tool and turn it off for free. check it out

Sounds like you have problems with a part called the valve body inside the transmission or other hydraulic control problems, i suspect you will need to overhaul the transmission to cure this.

You could have air in the clutch cylinder or there could be wear in your clutch master cylinder, You need to start by checking the fluid the the reservoir and then try bleeding the clutch, if this doesn't help then you will need a repalkcement master cylinder, It is recommended that you replace the slave cylinder at the same time as well as the flexible rubber hose.

Let the car cool down a bit before repeating. In the future, if u have to remove a battery cable, make or buy a gadget that connects a 9v battery to your cigarette lighter to hold onto the info...

Yes but you're not going to gain that much HP for the effort. If you can locate a 3.5 (535 or 735 motor) you'll have better success in getting HP out of it. Ideally if you can locate 3.5 out of an M5 you'ld be stylin'

Because it's a BMW and as far as i'm concern, they are a heap of s**t. I've just been told today by a BMW dealership in Dublin that they want a €160 to look at the radio and between €900 - €1,200 to fix the radio. Never before I had a radio problem in my life until I bought the BMW. It has my heart broken and my pocket empty. Pure junk.
