I don't understand what you mean . The holes on the rim can not become striped its a hole it possibile it can become oblonged or other wise distorted if the lug nuts were loose for a long peiriod driveing time. But if you mean that the lug nut it self is striped on the out side or inside you can use a nut spliter or just cut it off with a saws all. The will drive out the back with a few shots with a hammer . It has a splein on its colur and is a loose press fit in eighter the brake rotor or the hub collur depending on the set up . The new stud and nut are inexpensive even if you went to a dealer

Yes, I do believe it's in the trunk passenger side. Actually I think it has two batteries, one stacked on top of the other.
