You should check the level of the brake fluid if it is low the light will blink. the brake fluid and the hand brake use the same warning light.

check the whole lot again incase a bolt has come loose ,also the antiroll bar bushes but i would suspect that the caliper support bracket could be loose ,in the caliper depending on the braking system is rubber bushes where the two bolts go through that hold the caliper to the mount ,but their are at least three types of brake systems fitted to this vehicle so have a good look as i cannot always be right with any mass produced vehicle as they use different suppliers and without looking myself its difficult to know

What is a heating valve please ,never heard of this terminology ,a heater take off yes but a valve ?well if does have one i have never seen one ,most common cause is a core plug or in american freeze plug but a heating valve ?? couid be a heater hose perished and split i agree but a heating valve the heat on these cars is shut off by closing a flap on the heater inside the heater unit so this repair if its just a heater hose shouldnt take long unless its a core plug in which it may involve a longer job

There is a product ,witch contains a buffing compound and buffer to buff the lens with,sometimes it works,sometimes it does not,it depends on how deep the lens is contaminated,you can get it at the auto parts store

SUSPECT AN ELETRICAL WATERPUMP IS RUNNING

Look for the humming noise, sounds like a relay. Small black or grey cube.....then try to find out what it controls. Let me know where it's location is.
