Changed my 2001 vw polo 1.4 automatic transmission

This sounds like a linkage issue? Can you clarify a few details, have you removed gear box? And when you say it changing gears like a ####? Is it a clicking noise or a crunching noise?

Rear hatch door won't lock dash light showing

You need to tighten the lock mech on the boot lid. this will close the boot just enough more to turn the light on. It's no biggy, you might need a star driver depending on bolt head. move it into the boot lid approx 4mm to start. then 1mm until 10mm. if no joy then it may be the sensor.

Golf 2000, hesitates, goes into limp mode, feels like no fuel?

It may also be water in the gas. Gas after a while will go bad. and the tank also condensates. You may want to try some HEET or some gas additive that reduces the water in the gas. And it maybe the pump pickup is bent wrong or something and is actually starting to come out of the gas. Remember the gas gauge is only an indicator. I doesn't accurately tell you how much gas you actually have. I have ran out of gas a couple of times because it trusted the guage, only to find out that my sensor in the tank was on consistant from one tank to another.

I hope this helps
