Factory anti-theft system is immobilizing the vehicle. Try leaving the ignition on for 15 minutes, this may disarm the factory alarm. If you are lucky, unlocking the car with a factory remote will stop the problem. If you are unlucky, the car will need a new remote, key, ignition cylinder, ignition switch, or body control module
I believe up shifter shaft that goes through the transmission case is seized you may have to remove the valve body to remove the shifter shaft to clean and lubricate but sometimes you can use lubricant on the outside and it may free up the shaft, you can unhook the shift cable to prove if it is just a worn cable or seized shaft
First thing to check would be the fuse that controls the DRLs(check manual), if the fuse for that circuit is fine the next thing to check is the relay.
Also if you have your parking brake slightly on, that can cause them not to turn on as well.
Why did you not have the shop find a problem
& then go there, to have what was found explained to you ?
That way, you learn something & can decide if your being told the truth, lots of shops throw parts at codes & have no idea how
to diagnose vehicle problems
Why your using it is beyond me,get it fixed
You will have to find the horn first. Then check if power is getting to the horn, with a multi meter. If you have power then check for a good ground. If you have power then you will know horn is bad. If you have no power to horn you will have to check the fuse Now finally you can buy a new horn or go to your local junk yard and buy a horn from them, for your car.
OK well it sounds like the good clear the codes trick that many people do before they sell there car. Nobody likes buying a car with a check light on so they clear the code and there good for a little more time before the cars sensor picks up the issue again. With my experience with cars is if you have a check light on then you have a emissions system issue. Since you just bought the car do your major tune up. Major tuneup meaning spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap and ignition rotor, pcv, air filter, oil change, fuel filter, and if you really have time and money transmission filter/oil, coolant, thermostat and last a fuel injection cleaner bottle, this will give you a good sense that your starting fresh. And if you still have them codes coming up your gonna need to buy a service tech manual and a multi volt meter to eliminate guessing on what your car situation.
I had the same problem with my car I used some electrical contact lube that you can get at the auto parts store what happen to my car the leads in the plug for the bulbs were starting to corrode
the front stays on steadily because you have duel element bulbs, the filiment for the turn signal is blown out-replace it with a new bulb, when you have it out check too for rust in the socket, they do that (I have a 2000 Intrigue w/140,000 miles)
Turn the ignition to ON without starting the engine. Fully press and release the accelerator pedal three times within five seconds. If the CHANGE OIL SOON indicator flashes two times, the system is resetting. Turn the key off after the the light has finished flashing, then start the vehicle. If the CHANGE OIL SOON indictor comes back on, the engine oil life monitor has not reset. Repeat the procedure again. If the vehicle is equipped with the U20 option code, the vehicle as an oil life low indicator. The oil life low indicator shows an estimate of the oil's remaining useful life. When the oil life index is less than 10 percent, the display will show OIL LIFE LOW. To reset the oil life monitor, press and hold the MODE button until the light appears next to OIL LIFE. Press and hold the trip RESET button until the oil life percentage changes to 99 percent.
Hi, I'm glad to help!
The heater core can be completely block and not interfere with the engine coolant flow. Here are some things it can be: (1) The shaft on the water pump could be broken or the fan on the water pump could be worn. (2) The Radiator could be blocked and not allowing any flow. (3) The Thermostat could be restricting the flow because its not opening. If I were working on this vehicle I would suggest to the customer that we need to replace the thermostat FIRST and if that doesn't fix the problem then back flush the radiator to see if water is flowing through it. If the radiator has a good flow then I'd remove the water pump and check it. These are a few things to check and see what the issue is that's causing the problem. Hope this helps and have an awesome day.
If you look at the mount you may or may not find a small set screw. Either way there is a small metal bracket that slides off of the mirror assembly. Take that out and glue it back on. Much easier than holding the whole mirror up there while it adheres to the glass. Super glue works but I would recommend Gorilla Glue.
Steel tubing or rubber flex hose?
What line, where, how long, where does it go-- to end for end
Rubber Hose is just unbolted
Steel tube is unbolted and if necessary cut out & new
tubing has to be cut to size, flared & bent to fit
It is a fabrication job few folks have the patience or skills
for,not many auto repair people do,not the pros
