Do you know how to test automotive electrical circuits using a DVOM - digital volt ohmmeter ? Reading a wiring diagram so you know what all is involved in making the starter work ? You didn't mention your engine size. This vehicle does not have a coil pack on either engine. This engine uses "Coil on plug" ignition coils. I am forwarding pictures for the 2.5L i4 and 3.5L V6.

You will need two plastic wedges and a piece of stiff wire (wire coat hangars work remarkably well) or a slim jim. Insert the wedges between the metal portion of the driver door and the window to allow easier access for the slim jim/wire. Slide it to the location of the lock bar. Hook the lock bar and yank to the right. This should actuate the locking lever and unlock the door.

Don't think so, I have never heard of a relay in a brake light circuit. Sometimes there are two brake light switches on the brake pedal, one is for the cruise control. Are you sure you don't have another switch on the pedal? If that is the brake light switch, I don't know how the lights could stay on if the switch is removed. Does it have a button that needs depressing? If the button is held in on a brake light switch, it should stop the lights from coming on...?

I would say a bad one but check it has the sensor got any dirt / oil on it also check where it plugs in to the original harnes and look for loose or damaged wires
