Sounds like a stretched timing chain.

Easy fixes would be to check and clean relays and fuses, check the battery cables, and the grounding cable. Might be the starter solenoid also. Grounding cable usually goes from the starter to the chassis, or from the engine to the chassis. The cable might seem okay on top, but can be corroded (if it's copper, it's most likely oxidized through and can't get a contact.)

Most likely, your starter is failing. Change it before it dies completely. Less likely, you may have a safety interlock (neutral selector switch or clutch switch) that is failing.

What engine code are you receiving? I would check the camshaft position sensors, there are 2. Also have the MAPS sensor tested. Do you have a stock airfilter or an oilbased aftermarket one? My MAPS fouled out when the aftermarket oil filter seaped into the sensor. Also test the fuel injector pressure to ensure proper fuel flow. Some models had an issue with the fuel pump.

In the kit there are two sensor that look identical. The one for the crankshaft has a white paint mark on it near the bolt hole. Make sure that it is in the right location.

The problem is most likely in the transmission. Your local mechanic shop can scan the computer and it might tell you what the problem is.

first check your fuel system, replace fuel filter, also check your fuel pressure regulator on your fuel rail it may be leaking internally if ok check your fuel pump operation. if your fuel system is ok then check for a restricted catalytic converter its a common fault I encounter with them. if that to checks out ok then have the ecm scanned by a shop or the dealer could be a faulty engine speed sensor or crank or cam sensor

The fuses are actually one fuse which are related to one circuit. the radio fuse in the fuse box inside the car on thhe left hand side about knee level.

Could be the power control module. When the control module only sends a spark to one side, that would account for your exhaust on one side. However, the distributor shaft could also be worn on one side.
