How do I replace rear coil springs
you need to buy or rent spring decompressors before you attempt to work on them. It is very dangererous otherwise. once tool is in place and spring decompressed to a 1/4 in gap on either top or bottom spring plate. in trunk remove carpet or felt cover.usually plastic snaps or screws into from the lining. from the wheel well there should be a plastic cap standard screw driver should be able to pop it open. this is a bolt to the shock. once removed the suspesion should drop and the spring is removable. but if the gas in shock wont go down then the bottom bolts need to removed, then use jack to decompress shock off mount and it should come out
03 nissan altima high pitch whine from engine
I assume that you have a 6cyl engine, noise came from both worned secondary timing chain tenssioner shoes, just replace those two and while you have them all apart, also replace main tenssioner and guide, then all noises will go away. Good luck!
