What type of car? Make, model, year... Teaching you how to "break" in to your car is easy...the hard put is teaching you how to do it without destroying your weather striping, gouging your paint, harming your door frame and door, etc. Are you referring to an Ipod? You local law enforcement agency maybe able to help you get into your car for free. Please carefully consider whether the potential of destroying your weather stripping and doing damage to the above named items is worth not calling a locksmith/tow truck company, or your local law enforcement agency... If you still need help, just ask... I’m happy to help further over the phone at

You either have low engine vacuum due to a worn engine or the vacuum line is obstructed or a computer issue (highly unlikely) or wiring problems, replace the vacuum line and verify the engine vacuum reading with a vacuum gauge, it should be at least 17 inches at idle. Also have you looked at the signal with a live data scanner while driving, that would be the next step.
When do you service the
you dont. its a maintance free item, unless there is a failure, but nissan really doesnt have many if any issues with timing chains in your model year. its the later models that have issues with some timing chains. in your model i would be watching your oil level. we have seen some of those models burn oil.
Car is chugging and acting like it is running out of gas. Check engine light is on.
HelloWhen the service engine
soon light (Also called the check engine light or engine management
light) is turned on this is to alert you to the fact that Powertrain
Control Module (computer) has detected a failure somewhere in the
systems it controls you may not feel any difference in the way the
engine runs, this can be the transmission or the engine or emission
system, there are fault codes set in the modules memory for these
faults. What needs to happen now is to have the powertrain control
module scanned with a special tool called an OBD2 electronic engine
control scanner or a OBD2 code reader. Once the code(s) are read then
you must perform the diagnostics for each code and make the
appropriate repairs based on the findings of the diagnosis that was
performed, this is called doing "Pinpoint" testing.
Do not drive this until it is looked at.
Brake light and battery light stay on on dash it is a 2002 nissan maxima
This would not affect the brake light. Now that you have a new battery, unhook both cables for 15 minutes, then rehook to reset computer. See if this solves the problem with the lights, at least the brake light. If it does, then it can be the alternator unless both lights go out. Then it was a problem at the computer having to be reset.
