2003 Mitsubishi Galant 2.4 cylinder 3 misfire
on thesae oldr cars 2 and 3 cylinder fire together same as 1 aND 4 ,without head under the bonnet i honestly couldnt tell you the answer but i might be inclined to suspect a valve not seating correctly all the time
Water jacket
Some cars/trucks have a heater control valve that cuts off the circulation from the heater core inside the car, look for the 2 rubber hose going into the firewall, follow them and check for an inline valve. If not your coolant might be low or a stuck thermostat. Make sure the water pump is working. I just replaced one on a camry, it was doing pretty much the same thing.
Fuse diagram
there is usually a diagram on the underside of the fuse box cover, if not then pull them out and check 1 by 1 with the battery disconnected
I hae air conditioning condensation leak into
It is most likely due to the condesation drain tube being clogged. This tube should drain into the engine compartment. It should be located near the A/C evap. coil area where the refrigerant lines go through the bulkhead. If this tube gets clogged, the condensate will back up and find its way into the passenger compartment
Fuel Tank Temperature trouble code p0181
the code you have is for the fuel level sensor-you can access it by taking out the lower back seat -there's a plate that unscrews to access it-check with autozone or pepboys for the parts -cheers Denny
I have a 2003 mitsubishi
I have a similar problem...when at a stop it jerks in hesitation sometime feeling as if it wants to stall. It also does this when accelerating from stop...it has completely stalled out once when accelerating after switching from reverse to drive, but started right away.
Engine light on
The engine light will come on at 50,000 mile intervals by a pre-programmed setting. If there is nothing wrong with the vehicle, you can reset the light yourself by looking under the dashboard on the drivers side and searching for a small simple tiny switch. Looks just like a typical on off switch and just simply push it to the other side should turn the light off for another 50,000 miles.
