Its real low to the ground dont know if air schoks went out or what. Just want to know how to fix the problem

The air suspension bags most likely are shot. It takeas special tools to replace them.

Difficulty putting 2001 S500 into gear

A malfunctioning stop lamp switch can cause this symptom. Another cause can be a bad shifter assembly or gearshifter switch, although when these malfunction its usually permanently failed. The stop lamp switch is located on the brake pedal arm is is fairly easy to replace. You've likely had this long resolved by now, as I have just joined this site. Also, an A-service is basically an oil change with a vehicle inspection and battery test. Harry (master certified MBZ diagnostic tech)

Check owner's manual to find out how they turn on -- and try that -- just in case there is some other setting in place.Otherwise, check owner's manual to find out where the fuses are, and find the one that is burnt out -- replace.
