LHD to RHD Beam Bender
Thanks for the answer. Funnily enough I posted the question in 2007 not in 2017. I had sold the car long time ago.
In the end I purchased new RHD headlamps as nothing else was allowable.

Mercedes slk200 blower motor removal
Remove the passenger side, lower dash cover under the glove compartment that conceals the blower
motor. A 1/4-inch socket will be needed to remove the screws holding the cover. Locate the blower motor. The motor can be seen hanging down close to the passenger kick panel, disconnect the electric to the blower motor and then remove the screws that secure it to the ducting, drop blower down and out from under the dash. I would test the blower first with a 12 volt jumper cord from the battery made out of house lamp cord, it is not usually the problem but the blower speed control module that is next to it.

My SLK 320 roof is
Most likely one of the pin switches that senses the location of the top for safety goes bad. Usually very cheap to replace. You can unplug them and jumper the wires to bypass to test to see if one are all have gone bad then replace as needed. One is in the trunk on the passenger side. Also remove any debris or personal items from the truck as it may see items in the way and cause a not ready to close top condition.
Thank you and good luck.

My roof on my mercedes slk goes up ok but the
The micro switches for the hard top latches are bad and not sending a closed signal to the control module. When they stop working the control module doesn't know the top is closed so it doesn't raise the windows. Those micro switches are known to go bad. I have changed quite a few of them before.

My trunk will not open on my wife's 2001 slk
your can check is it something stuck in the lock, first operate your roof either way, if you are going to open the roof as a first action boot lid will open to backward, let boot lid fully open and stop operating the roof, ignition off and have a look if something stuck you can see, if you are going to close the roof let close the roof and before close the boot lid stop operating roof switch, otherwise faulty boot lid lock, if faulty lock but you can try by mettle key blade which is in your electronic key, first take out mettle key from electronic key then insert mettle key in to the key hole in boot lid turn fully left and open boot if not work turn fully left and push it in, is this information helped you?

Slk 500-glove box wont open
It sounds like something got in the way of the latch when you closed it after putting your stuff in there. Take a screw driver and while gently prying on the door turn the latch at the same time. Once it opens and there wasn't anything jamming it then WD 40 time. Let me know how it turns out. Raz
