remove the cover on backside of tail gate and check to make sure the actuator rods are connected to the handle

The most common cause of this is that the blower motor speed dropping resistor is defective, I suggest you try that first. It is located in the air ducting (the connector harness sticking out) near the blower motor. See picture below.

master cylinder is broken

Try checking the connector on the back of the switch assembly on driver side door. If it's not connected properly it will not provide power to any of the window switches.

Simply remove the positive cable from the battery, count to ten, then reconnect. That should do it.

Take it to the dealer .tell them to test the wires u dont want to try it urself u may mess it up more

Sounds like it's time for a new controller. But before you spend money on one, pull it out unplug it and plug it back in. Could be a bad connection. Since it works, kind of. it's not a fuse.

The first thing to check is the battery in the remote. If you have a good battery in the unit, then it may be a fuse to the BCM that is bad or it could be the BCM needs to be replaced.

there are some good easy to install boat plugs at the parts stores all vehicles have a split. if you look under the vehicle almost in the middle near rear bumper you should see a plug set up. the part you get plugs in between the two sections. you may have to drop your spare tire to find it. my 98 yukon had it so i am sure your ford will have it too.
