2006 GMC Envoy. I took it to the shop for a brake booster and lower arm replacements and now all lights in the cluster are on, even the gas light.

Question edited for clarity, wrong type of break vs brake. Question moved to model category. Take it back to the shop. They have a duty of car to fix what you take it in for and not break anything else. Their scan tool should diagnose the issue in 5 minutes. https://www.google.com/search?q=2006+GMC+Envoy+all+the+cluster+light+are+on ..

4.2l. Where is oil pump?

Hello. Your GMC's oil pump at the bottom of the engine block; covered by the oil pan. To access it; drain the oil and remove the oil pan. The 'oil pickup tube' is bolted to the oil pump 'cavity'. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

Ems5I have a 06 envoy and left the driver side window down and it got soaked from rain. Now I can not get the window. I was told i probably need a new window module. Can u tell me where it is in my car

Dave, good news for you. There is a recall for the master switch on the drivers door. The recall involves water being able to get into the switch. I wouldn't say anything, just call and ask about the the recall. This "module" is the switch itself. Pop the plastic trim upwards, the switch comes right up.

How to deactivate parking assist option

Hello, Janice - I can only think you do not have the owner's manual for your vehicle. The information about turning the curb view assist mirror on and off can be found in the manual. This is the link to the PDF format user's manual for the 2006 GMC Envoy: https://my.gmc.com/content/dam/gmownercenter/gmna/dynamic/manuals/2006/gmc/envoy/2006_gmc_envoy_owners.pdf You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader software (free) to download/save the manual. If you download and save the manual to your Documents folder, be sure to save it using a file name you can find again easily, something like: GMC Envoy 2006 Manual. The instructions to turn the Curb View off is on page 3-64 (Image 208) of the manual. Best wishes.

Gas pump shuts off repeatedly when gassing car

It is nothing to do with the canister or associated pipework. There would be no problem if the filler pipe entered the tank at the highest point but mostly they don't. Realistically the problem is like filling an old-fashioned teapot through the spout if the lid was sealed down tight and there was no vent - once the level has risen to a point equivalent to the top of where the spout enters the teapot a pressure begins to build under the top that resists further filling. To overcome this problem in the fuel tank and to allow complete filling, the high points have a vent and each vent is joined together by a hose that is terminated at a vent in the filler pipe at a height above the tank top. When fuel blowback happens during filling the cause is mostly one or more of those vents or hoses is blocked or squashed or otherwise damaged...
