2001 ford f150 tranmission problem.
Remove the TPS. When you reinstall it you must align the 2 tabs slightly counterclockwise of the flat blade. Rotate the TPS so that there is the slightest tension on the spring loaded parts inside then install the screws. Before you install the screws, hold the TPS and have someone step on the gas half way. You should feel it want to rotate in your hand. If you feel that then install the screws and roadtest. If you know anyone with a cheap scan tool you can watch the TPS signal increase when stepping on the gas. Hope this helps.

Hi, look in the fusebox and see if there is a relay in position 3 as shown in the diagram below. I'm guessing that is the starter interrupt relay associated with the anti-theft system. Pull the relay out and borrow the relay 4 temporarily to replace relay 3. If this allows the truck to start, get a new relay for #4, which is the relay for your window one-touch-down. Please get back to me if this doesn't solve your problem.
