My battery light came on
When the battery dies and the engine shuts down, the power steering will stop working. I would have the battery tested first, if the battery tests ok, then the cause may be the alternator is not charging the battery causing the vehicle to run on what charge is left in the battery till it dies. I would have both of those checked out by your local Auto Zone, or local Auto parts store, usually they will do this free of charge.
Hope this helps...
Temperature Gauge read HOT instantly
If the gauge does not go back to cold when the engine is cold, it could be the gauge on the dash. I am assuming the gas gauge drops with the key off.You could unplug the temp sensor on the engine to see if it makes any difference.
My engine light is on, had it diagnosed. Can you explain F.P.C. solenoid circuit in a mazda, where is it located and cost involved to repair?
Step 1:
P1745 - Transmission system problems. The code for this concern is related to the EPC solenoid in the transaxle. P1745 EPC EPC solenoid circuit failure EPC solenoid, circuit or PCM shorted or open. Soft/harsh shift feelThe
wire to the EPC solenoid is a yellow and violet wire. The code indicates
that the problem is strictly caused by this solenoid circuit. I would
suggest inspecting this wire from the trans to the PCM.If there are no
obvious faults, replace the wire with a new wire ,eliminating the faulty
circuit. Hope this helped you.Step 2:
It's located inside the transmission. You must remove the pan and filter to get access to it.Step 3:
As for the price you really need to get it diagnosed further.
