Its Lean when you have more air then gas. Its Rich when you have more gas then air. So if its too lean check your air supply, filters, etc.

It depends.If you have a 2.7L engine the housing is on top of the engine. If it's the 3.5L it's buried in the front and you may have to pull off the fan assembly to get to it.

Possible EGR valve clogged or TPS sensor or cam sensor failing. All of which have not thrown a code yet in the computer.

thermostat is located in housing on lower left side of engine near the oil filter and attached to the lower rad hose (on a 3.5 liter anyway)

Hi Whitney Gonzales, I have a question. Is somebody helping you with this vehicle because I would like to know if it is getting fuel. Now be nice to have somebody crank it over and check to see if it had any spark on the spark plugs. Now I have had spark plugs go bad and the car does not start, once I replaced them it ran beautifully. If you have spark and no fuel then it is the fuel pump. After or before you remove it I would test it. Also check for power at the connections. Now if you have fuel then your problem is electrical and we have to climb that ladder next. Which I am hoping it is your fuel pump. Bad thing you have jack up the vehicle pretty high to drop the fuel tank or have a garage do it. Good luck.

If it is hard to stop (brake doesn't go down). Check the vacuum line to the brake booster. Or the booster diaphragm is bad. The diaphragm is behind the master cylinder on the fire wall on the drivers side. Big, round and black.

SKIM is short for sentry key immobilizer module. It uses a proximity sensor and a special "sentry" key to keep people from stealing your car. if you bent valves then there will be insufficient compression to fire the mixture. have a compression test done to determine if the valves are bent

First off to narrow things down would be to see if any codes are set. Next check to see if you have all of compression, spark at the plugs and fuel at the downstream end of the intake or actuallt at or near the cyclinder(s)

Pretty sure that's just the computer resetting. Don't worry about it unless it goes on again.

The plunger button may be stuck in. It's around you door frame or on your door and sometimes will rust in. Does your light work manually? If so then it has to do with this plunger If plunger moves in and out freely, make sure it is coming out all the way. If not, then it may be a fuse gone. In that case, locate the dome light fuse in the box and check it Hope this helps

Sure sounds like a blend air door problem. The rotary temperature knob moves a cable that moves the blend air door. There is a bushing in the housing that likes to break and will either leave the door closed no heat or open heat when a/c is on. TSB 8506-01 covers this problem.

Technical Background
The blend door control lever moves freely, but the blend door does not operate.




A bushing that fits on the lever may have a broken tab/clip, -arrows-, as shown.
This tab/clip may cause the bushing to fall out of the fresh air housing which can result in the door becoming inoperative and result in undesired air temperature.
Production Solution
No production change required.
Service Procedure
Tip:
In the past the entire fresh air housing was replaced because the bushing was not available as a separate part. The bushing is now available as a separate part.
The bushing can be accessed from under the center console.



^ Remove the panels near the foot wells at the passenger side of the console, -arrows-, as shown.
See Repair Manual, Body-Interior, Repair Group 68 - Interior Equipment for removal procedure.



^ This will expose the location of the control lever, -arrow-, as shown.



^ Re-bolt a new bushing onto the lever, -arrow-, as shown.
^ Re-insert the bushing with lever onto the blend door until it is firmly secured in the housing.
Tip:



A mirror can be used to aid in identifying the orientation of the blend door when re-securing the bushing in the fresh air housing, -arrow-, as shown.
^ Reinstall panels.

Hope you are good at working in tight spots and with mirrors. I just did this job 2 weeks ago. It took 1 hour and was really a pain in the B==t working upside down with a mirror through a 1 inch hole. Hope this helps and Good Luck Happy New year and thanks for using FixYa.

Which engine, 2.7L?? Is it full of coolant?? If the water pump has failed, it a pretty expensive repair.
