If you have the retaining pin pulled you should be able to slide the axle in enough to get the C-clip removed.

there is a common problem with gm trucks and cars instrument cluster. it will need to be replaced. it is not a recall

Could be many different things. One simple thing to try is to put a couple of bottles of fuel injector cleaner in your gas tank and drive it for a little while. Dirty fuel injectors are a common problem.

if it is overheating within a few minutes of running first use a laser temp gauge to ensure that the gauge is working. if it is then next step would be to have the block tested. even with a stuck thermostat it shouldn't overheat that fast.

Pull intake off pull off valve covers,loosin rocker arm bolts and remove ,, pull push rods out, after you have the push rods out you can pull the lifters out,,,,,,i suggest taking to a mechanic shop,,, if all you have is a ticking sound try this,,, buy a can of chemtol spray,,,chemtol only,,, with the little red straw for spraying,,,remove valve cover,,try to see if you can hear which lift or lifts is ticking,,,turn off car,,,loosen not remove that rocker arm,,,slid to the side,,count your turns,,,move rocker to the side,,, take chemtol spray and insert little spray straw and spray it down the hole in the center of the push rod ,, it will clean the lifter of the debris that is not letting it prime up,, repeat if nessary,, it works,,, see YOU TUBE,,, dirty oil causes this,,, put in clean oil and some lucas oil treatment to help prevent in future,,, keep oil changed ,,if it starts ticking again change oil and add more lucas,,, it might fix itself

9 times out of 10 it is a bad sender at the fuel pump . The pump and sender are built as one . It requires a new fuel pump . Ive had this happen before so my remedy until i could afford the new pump was to use the trip set on my odometer. I would fill it up and set the trip to 0 and once it hit 250 miles i would fill it up again . But that wont fix your problem , just get you by. It will need a new fuel pump and sender Airtex Electric Fuel Pump Assembly

Have you searched YouTube for an answer to this? Search several models, not just a Tahoe. You will likely find a radio that is held in place just like the one in your Tahoe. Some require a section of dashboard to be removed. Some have 4 small holes at the corners of the radio bezel that a "U" shaped tool is inserted into that releases the radio and allows it to be pulled out.

Hey Earl, what's going on ? The air bag module is usually under the passenger seat or the center console ! The only way to turn off the light is with a up grade scan tool , not code reader. An the light is on for a reason , problem with the system ! If you don't know about this don't mess with it , you could deploy an air bag ! The AIR BAG indicator, located on the instrument panel cluster (IPC) is used to notify the driver of SIR system malfunctions and to verify that the SDM is communicating with the IPC. When the ignition is turned ON, the SDM is supplied with ignition 1 voltage and requests the IPC to flash the AIR BAG indicator 7 times. While flashing the indicator, the SDM conducts test on all SIR system components and circuits. If no malfunctions are detected the SDM will communicate with the IPC through the class 2 serial data circuit and request the IPC to turn the AIR BAG indicator OFF. The SDM provides continuous monitoring of the air bag circuits by conducting a sequence of checks. If a malfunction is detected the SDM will store a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) and request the IPC to turn the AIR BAG indicator ON. The presence of a SIR system malfunction could result in non-deployment of the air bags. The AIR BAG indicator will remain ON until the malfunction has been repaired.

Once you fix the problem you should be able to clear the code with a scan tool, and the light will stay off.

Did you check the battery in your remote?

Remove ground from battery for 10 seconds if you dont have a scan tool. Auto zone or any other auto shop can read the code that is triggering the check engine light and clear it (although they say there not supposed to). You should really investigate why you are getting that code and fix the problem before resetting your vehicles ECM/PCM.(Engine/powertrain control module). If the problem is addressed and fixed correctly the check engine light will turn off after multiple 15+ minute trips driving both low and high-speed driving. Resetting the light is a way to make sure their is a definite fault and seeing if it returns soon there after. It can take two to three days depending on how far you drive for the light to return. If you haven't fixed or repaired anything the light will return 9/10 times until the problem is fixed correctly. Thee light doesn't come on for no reason. Your emissions system is not working how it should and your mpgs and driveability can suffer in the mean time. I suggtes check the position CIG LTR for Cigarette Lighter. The underhood fuse block in the engine compartment on the driver's side of the vehicle near the battery. Lift the cover for access to the fuse/relay block.

To remove fuses, hold the end of the fuse between your thumb and index finger and pull straight out.
