There are two screws that need to be removed from the front door panel as well as the clips--the screw under the little plastic cover beneath the inside door handle, and an additional screw on the inside of the door, accessible when you open the door up--if I recall correctly, you should see a screw in or near where the air duct is located, where the air blows from your console into the air duct of the door. Hope this helps! There is also a row of metal clips on the top of the panel, which are different than the plastic clips surrounding the rest of the door panel. Check the below link it may increase your knowledge on your car.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEZ-bcEYdRA&feature=player_embedded#t=12
Just make sure your radio is turned off before removing the battery. If the radio is on and the battery is removed and replaced, the radio may get locked out. This will prompt you to enter and reset code to your radio to have it work again. Good luck and after you battery has been replaced, just reset the radio stations setting and time.
Hi , does your car have a side door air bag ? , if so this would have to be removed to replace the window mechanism and the ignition has probably been turned on with the air bag disconected so the air bag control unit has reconised a open curcuit fault, the warning light will stay on until the fault memory has been cleared , hope this helps , regards mark
If it's like most BMW brake rotors you don't remove the center nut to remove the rotor. You should see a slotted screw in the rotor a couple of inches out from the center. Remove it and the rotor comes off. Might have to tap rotor with a rubber mallet but it should come right off.
Even if you have the handsfree kit installed (a little mic above the steering wheel console + the nice little bluetooth button on the steering wheel next to the radio controls) it does not mean you actually have bluetooth. Check your trunk. If you have the bluetooth module, it will be a black box, about half the length of a VHS and visible against the wall seperating the trunk from the inside of the car. The wire usually leads from the center console into the trunk and on some occassions, the module can be hidden under the mat you have to take out when accessing your spare.
heres a project ,design some software that can be used with OBDII to unlock the factory immobiliser .the reason i ask is that europeon cars are now using encrypted software which is making things for general mechanics like myself practically impossible to earn a living. Some new cars i cant evan change the oil without the immobiliser cutting in,and as for the professional tools at 4800€ they cant evan touch a motor from 2007 especially renault and VW,post results on sourceforge.net ,where you can find some projects being worked on.6yrs at college and iam being reduced to a glorified grease monkey with these new cars ,feel like iam being bullied by a load of bill gates look alikes.
