Driver side speakers fade in and out
Sounds like you may have a short in the wiring to the speakers. You can play with the balance and fade controls to check the sound, but a professional car stereo installer can troubleshoot and replace that for you.

My 2003 745i has airbag and seatbelt lights on
It could well be a voltage problem. An occasional dip or spike in voltage can cause all kinds of problems with BMW electrical systems.
I would get a voltmeter and try monitoring the voltage at my lighter outlet while I drove around for a day or two, You should make sure that the battery terminals are clean, and you should clean the main grounds at the battery and under the hood (hard to find) and check the ground strap that grounds the engine to the body. The ground strap is likely is next to an engine mount.

Have an OBII scan done. (fault scan) Your description can describe many things and a scan will narrow it down to the exact faults. It's easier & cheaper than throwing parts at it. Trust me, I used to work for BMW NA

We have a BMW 745
hello doc....
The emergency brake is mechanical not electrical. There is no fuse for the emergency brake. It is most likely that the brake cable leading to the rear brakes is stuck. This is quite common in vehicles with automatic transmissions because the e-brake (parking brake) is not used very often. As a result the cables get rusty and stick. It is also possible that the cable needs to be adjusted; but it is more likely that it will need to be replaced due to 7 years of exposure to road dirt, water, salt, etc. etc. etc.
You may be able to release it by putting the car in drive and then into reverse to put a little pressure on the cable. If it does release for you, still have it checked as it will lock up again. Joe
Thanks for choosing Fixya!

730d/2004...my key is not accepted
Check with your local BMW dealer. If there is supposed to be more than one key for your vehicle, they can not only tell you, but they can also cut a new key by looking up your key codes using the VIN on your car. If there is supposed to be only one key for your vehicle, they can assist you in getting any malfunctioning key cylinders repaired or replaced.

The parking brake cable is probably frozen by dirt or corrosion (too much friction for the brake return spring to overcome). Try injecting Liquid Wrench or a spray lubricant into the cable housing(s) underneath the car, then pulling on the cable by hand. If you get it loose, clean up the part of the cable that goes into the housing, or any part that slides on another, and coat with a thin film of grease. Engage and disengage the parking brake several times to make sure it works smoothly.
If you can't get the cable to work freely, you may have to replace it.
