93 BMW 3 series

I would first check the back pressure of the exhaust system to make sure the system isn't restricted. If the engine is not misfiring, and you have changed the plugs and fuel filter, I would suspect an exhaust restriction. if the exhaust is ok, I would check the fuel pressure next.

Power windows not working, 2 door car.

Yes, it might be a fuse problem or it may be a short in the wiring in the driver's door...the wiring you can see by the door hinge when you open the door or you might have a bad window switch on the driver's door which is causing a short that is effecting your speakers.

The electronic windows in my 1993 BMW 318i do not work. Why?

Try checking the drivers master switch it may be bad and needs to be replaced...if it's bad none of the other door switches will work...the sunroof problem is most likely a fuse problem caused by your son when checking the fuses and either shorted one out or he wasn't looking when he was pulling it out and put it back into the wrong place next to where it's suppose to be.

92 325is non vanos to vanos conversion?

You cannot retro fit a late engine with vanos to an early model that uses the non vanos set up .There simply is too much else that needs to be changed as well. You best bet is hang in there and find the correct type of engine for your car.

2002 BMW 325 - key locked in trunk

There are several suggestions out there on how to retrieve BMW keys from the trunk. Many of the ways I tried failed, and it takes 2 to 3 days to get a new key made up. In the coupe there is the center piece in the back seat that folds down. Then on the back wall there is material that will fold down that is held up with Velcro. Behind that you will find a rubber insulation that is mostly cut and looks like a door, but not all the way. Carefully cut the rubber to remove the piece. Now you will find a metal wall, but there is a large piece that is tack welded on. I got turned around and kicked it with the bottom of my foot and got 3 sides loose. Then a softball bat knocked the final side loose. Pull that out and trash it, the final barrier is the insulation that is held in place with plastic clips that can just be pushed down. After that you can a pretty large hole to work through and get the keys. Just put everything back in place other than the metal plate and you will never know anything was done.

BMW 318 i 42M

The next step I would take is drop the oil pan .
Check the contents.
IF clean change the oil pump and pick up screen,

The bearing could be gone.
--
If you check the oil pressure and the oil pressure is good.

The fuel system should be checked. A stuck in injector or missing cylinder.

No spark

The spark on this car is controlled by the crank sensor its located on the side of the cranks shaft damper/pulley. There is a long black wire coming from it and its connected under the intake manifold. Check and make sure that the sensor was plugged back in properly. That's there reference for the spark signal for this car. Good luck and thanks for using FIX YA.

My battery went flat the other week! now the

suspect the air bag light came on due to it sensing a low battery voltage which woud cause the air bag to not deploy. Check to see if your battery is carging first. It should read 12 volts with engine off. it should read 14 -15 volts with engine running.
Next check for a dead cell in battery. Need to have any auto store test it for free.
If all good, check for battery drain from something still on after key is off.

Car engine hesitates and loses power

You need to check distributor cap/wiring/spark plugs. when engine cold resistans at electric parts/connections is low. Then it warms up it increases and electric current goes down. Maybe you have bad connection somethere. Your car is equpped with digital motor electronics fuel (DME) injection. Here there is component location and diagnostic:

Also I would check fuel injectors itself (use injector cleaner), fuel filter (replace). If no help MAF sensor, trottle position sensor. There is good repair guide here:

Please kindly let me know if this info was usefull for you or you need more info.
Good Luck
