Having a problem on a 2005 Nissan Maxima, car bangs when shifting gears, and when the car is heated up revs go crazy and sometimes the car turns off itself. Any solutions for this please?

Yes, you need a technician with a professional grade scan tool computer, to do a full scan. It will tell you where all the issues are. It sounds like bad sensors.

I have a 2005 Maxima that starts fine, accelerates slowly and then picks up speed

Check your fuel pressure under a load. Possible fuel line restriction. Also check the tps for on open signal at WOT wide open throttle.

My 05 nissan maxima jerk when shift on reverse

Check your ignition coils. I have an 04 maxima, and it shift very hard into reverse. Code p0174 is my problem. That’s the no. 1 cylinder being faulty (ignition coil no. 1). I’m changing my ignition coils in the next 2 days.

The most obvious first place to look is at the heater coil. Sounds like it's history.

Remote control programming

get into the car , close and lock all doors. insert your key into the ignition in and out 6 times or until your directionals flash. that's when the car is in program mode. you need to pay attention to it while putting key in and out of the ignition. watch your dash for flashing. its kinda hard, but you can do it. so just take your key and put it inside of the igniton and take it out 6 times in a row or until lights flash. when lights flash, put the key in the ignition and turn it to accesorries position (do not start the car). when the dash / cluster lights up after you turn the key, press any button on the remote. your hazards should flash on the dash again. after that happens, take the key out of the ignition and unlock the door with the door lock switch and open the door. remote is now programmed. congrats. you did it.

How can i clear the codes in my 2005 maxima after fixing the abs problem

The light is probably on because there is something wrong with one of the ABS sensors near the hub. The sensors are pretty fragile and not really surprising that one goes bad after several years. They cost about $110-140 at a dealer for the part.

What do I do if my 2005 Nissan Maxima engine is locked up and will not crank

If it's because of a mechanical problem you may need a new engine . Has the engine overheated ? Stoped for no reason . Made any strange noise's . Did you try turning the engine over by hand with a socket an 1/2 drive breaker bar ?

05 nissan maxima no start replaced camshaft sensor bank 1&2 still gives PO345 code fuel pump works but still no start

You need to have a live data scanner hooked up to verify the powertrain control module (PCM) is actually receiving the signals from the CMP sensors you replaced, there is no more guessing here and no quick answers, it is a possibility the wiring harness and connectors to the sensors is defective, the wiring should always be replaced whenever the sensors are replaced on this engine ALWAYS, as they are frequently the problem and not the sensors themselves. But due to the difficulty of replacing the CMP's they both are replaced as a unit repair. Also it may be helpful for you to read the info at the link below.
