Hi, The center console latch is stuck on my BMW X5 2001. any idea how to get it unstuck?

No idea but jeremy clarkson of top gear even took one to australia to try it upside down and didnt stick ,but in your case i would assume that something plastic has broke inside the catch and no doubt the only way is renew it ,but you need to open it first and for this then a big screwdriver and wrench it open

Where can i locate and how do i check the automatic transmision oil on my x5 2005 model

There is no transmission fluid dipstick, this is a so called "sealed" transmission. Contact the dealer for assistance in fluid level checks but unless you see transmission fluid on the ground which is red you don't need to have it checked.

# PLEASE HELP ME # I have a 2005 bmw x5 3.0d

Hi:) This sound like the valve body in the transmission has a warren valve that is allowing fluid by the valve when it get hot. See when fluid is cold it is thick and can be held back with a 0.006" gap but when it get hot the fluid will pass by the valve. It can be repaired if got to in time.

I changed oil how do i make the maintenance grid recognize it

You must manually reset the system BMW Oil Service reset for 2001 ~ current model year- Ignition OFF (POS 0)- Press and Hold the trip odometer button while turning key to position 1 (ACCESSORY)- Keep the button depressed (about 5 secs.) until you see "Oil Service" or "Inspection" with "Reset" or "Re" in the display- *Note: On vehicles with "High" cluster, you will also see the amount of fuel (in litres) remaining until next service- Press the button again and hold for approx. 5 secs. until "Reset" or "Re" flashes- While the display is flashing, briefly press the button again to reset the Service Interval. After the display has shown the new interval you should see "END SIA" for about 2 secs.Note that if the "Reset" or "Re" does not flash, then you have not met the minimum consumption level and cannot reset
