You need to take it in for service. The reason the car has an alarm is to alert you as soon as possible that there is a problem. If you continue to drive with the problem, it may only get worse.

Solution 1 above worked for me after I replaced the door handle carrier in the driver's door.

Most sat nav/radio issues are caused by a flat battery! The most simple solution to try is th switch the vehicle off, go to the fuse box on the right hand panel of the boot (as your facing boot) remove fuse 24 (5 amp) for 5 minutes then replace and start vehicle as normal! This will reset the nav/stereo system! Rich B

You can check if there is something wrong the the engine

Clean or replace the idle speed control valve.

Check the owners manual for location.

Engine has over heated. have the cooling system pressure checked. have the radiator check for blockages Check the cooling fans are working and if you have a viscous fan hub replace it.

BMW has a totally different locking device than most vehicles. If it deemed to be hard to minipulate replace that lock cylinder

If you have the door panel off already. you have to look at the back of the door latch mechanism. you will see where the wire for the door handle hooks to the door. If you are starting you have to be very careful in removing the screws for the door panel look for the hidden screws under caps with cutout.there should be a toric screw where the door handle is and another one close to where the mirror mounts. again look for caps

Should be in the fuse box with all others,Check the owners manual.

yes it is. the cover is to keep water and trash out of the area. it serves a good purpose although a pain sometimes.
